Ham Salad Recipe

Salad is a healthy dish that contains raw fruits or vegetables. The dish has different varieties like salads of pasta, mixed salads, fruit salads and seafood salad. The dish contains four cups of cooked elbow macaroni, seven ounces of sharp Cheddar cheese, a cup of diced fully cooked ham, a cup of chopped dill pickles and three hard-cooked eggs. In addition to these ingredients, you need a small finely chopped onion, ¾ cup mayonnaise as well as a tablespoon of Dijon mustard.

Mix the macaroni, Cheddar cheese, cooked ham, dill pickles and eggs in a large bowl. Add the mustard and mayonnaise. Toss to mix well. Cover the dish and place inside the refrigerator. Serve after an hour.

Quick Ham Salad

The key ingredients in this recipe are two pounds smoked boneless ham and two cups mayonnaise. In addition to these ingredients, you need a cup of sweet pickle relish, ½ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, two teaspoons salt, an onion, a small green bell pepper and two stalks celery.

Mix the mayonnaise, pepper, relish and salt in a bowl. Blend the ingredients well then add the green pepper, celery, onion and ham. Toss the ingredients and refrigerate for an hour. Do not forget to cover the bowl before placing inside the refrigerator. To make the dish tasty, you can top the dish with shredded cheese before serving.

Asparagus Ham Salad

If you like to prepare a healthy dish at home, you can always try this recipe. The ingredients include a pound of fresh asparagus, ½ cup vegetable oil or olive oil, ¼ cup white wine vinegar and a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Aside from these ingredients, you need ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon sugar, a cup of diced fully cooked ham and two thinly sliced green onions.

Heat a pan over medium fire and cook asparagus in the pan for eight minutes. Drain the vegetable and refrigerate for an hour. Mix the vinegar, oil, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a jar. Shake to mix the ingredients. Cover the jar and place inside the refrigerator. Transfer the asparagus on a clean plate. Add in the mustard mixture and mix well. Top with onions, ham and dressing. Serve immediately.
