Preheat the oven to 350 F. Sift the coca, salt, flour and baking soda in a bowl. Place them aside. Mix the shortening and sugar in a bowl until it turns fluffy.

Add the eggs and corn syrup. Mix them well, and add the vanilla. Slowly add the other ingredients and coffee alternately. Beat the mixture every time you make additions.

Get a bowl and beat the egg whites until they get stiff. Fold these into the batter. Put the batter in a baking pan (13 x 9 x 2). Bake this Mother’s Day cake recipe for 45 minutes. Allow it to rest on the rack after baking.

3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ cups of sugar
3 cups of carrots

1 can of crushed pineapple

Begin by preheating the oven to 350 F. Place foil on a 13 x 9 pan. Apply some vegetable cooking spray. Get a bowl and combine the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and baking powder.

Get another bowl and mix the pineapple, vanilla, oil and sugar. To make this Mother’s Day cake recipe, you need to combine these ingredients with the dry ones. Mix them and add the carrots. Stir them well. Beat the egg whites until peaks crop up. Add this to the mixture.

Pour this mixture into the baking pan. Bake the cake for 40 minutes. Allow it to cool on a wire rack. Invert the cake on wax paper. Take off the foil.
