These tasty beef brisket recipes are simple to prepare and make. If you want to give your beef a new look and taste, then give these dishes a go.
Beef Brisket with Beer
½ cup of tomato juice
1/3 cup of chopped onion
2 pieces of garlic cloves
½ cup of ketchup
12 ounces of beer
2 tsp of lemon juice
2 tbsp of brown sugar
4 cups of hickory chips
2 tsp of dry mustard
1 tbsp of paprika
4 to 5 lbs of beef brisket
Dashes of hot pepper sauce
Some salt and pepper
Begin making this simple beef brisket recipe by getting a saucepan. Put the chopped onion, ketchup and brown sugar in it. Next add the beer, tomato juice, garlic, lemon juice and paprika. Pour in the mustard, hot sauce and a teaspoon of salt. Finally add half a teaspoon of pepper.
Boil this mixture. Lower the heat settings and allow it to simmer for 25 to 35 minutes. Put the hickory chips in water. This has to be done an hour prior to cooking. Get the covered grill ready. Put the drip pan between the coals.
Drain the chips when the coals are heated. Spray the chips on the coals. Now put the brisket on the grill. Apply the sauce you created to give this homemade beef brisket recipe more taste.
Put the cover on. Grill for 60 minutes. Take off the cover and flip the brisket. Apply more of the sauce. Cover the grill and cook for another hour.

4 carrots (large, sliced into 3 inch pieces)
3 celery stalks (large, cut into 3 inch pieces)
4 lbs of beef brisket
1 onion (sliced)
1 cup of diced tomatoes
2 tsp of salt
1 cup of water
¼ cup of parsley sprigs
½ tsp of coarsely ground pepper
2 tbsp of all purpose flour
5 red skinned potatoes (quartered)
Commence this beef brisket recipe by preheating the oven (325 degrees). Spray some of the salt and pepper on the brisket. Put the brisket in a skillet with the fat facing down. The heat setting should be high. Cook until it gets brown.
Turn it over and cook the other side until it gets brown. Put the brisket in a 3 and ½ quart baking dish. Put the celery, onions and tomatoes about the brisket. Place the parsley and carrots around the brisket too.
Get a cup of liquid measure. Add in the flour with ¼ tsp of salt. Add a cup of water to it. Pour this into the skillet and stir. Sprinkle this around the brisket. Cook for two hours. After two hours, add the potatoes and 1/3 tsp of salt. Cook for another half hour.
