Sponge Cake with Orange
2 cups of all purpose flour (sifted)
½ cup of vegetable oil
1 tsp of salt
7 egg yolks
¾ cup of cold water
4 teaspoons of orange peel (grated)
7 egg whites
½ tsp of cream of tartar
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 ½ cups of sugar
Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Create a depression in the middle. Put in the egg yolks, oil, and vanilla. Add the water and lemon too. Mix this tasty sponge cake recipe. You can also use a mixer (low speed).

5 egg yolks
2/3 cup of sugar
5 egg whites
½ tsp of lemon zest (grated)
1 tsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of baking soda
2/3 cup of cake flour
¼ tsp of salt
3 tbsp of butter (melted)
Beat the yolks until it gets thick. Add a third of the sugar. Add the lemon zest and juice. Beat the egg whites until peaks come up. Add the remaining sugar. Add the yolk and mix it. Sift the dry ingredients.
Put in the butter and mix it. Transfer this in a roll pan. Bake it for 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Add some sugar on the top. Place it in a towel peppered with sugar. Roll the cake and let this sponge cake recipe cool. When it cools, unroll.
Sponge Cake with Marshmallows and Choco Chips
4 cups of marshmallows
1 tsp of salt
¼ cup of milk
2 cups of whipped cream
¼ tsp of ground cinnamon
1 cup of pecans (chopped)
8 sponge cake dessert cups
2 tsp of instant coffee
1 cup of semisweet choco chips
Mix the marshmallows, milk and salt in a double boiler. Cook this above boiling water. Keep cooking until the marshmallows melt. Take it away from the heat. Add the choco chips while stirring.
Add the coffee and cinnamon and stir the mixture. Fold this concoction over the cream. Seal the container and put it in the fridge. Take the remaining choco mix and apply on the desert cups. Add the pecans. Pour the chilled mixture onto this cup.
