Pancake Recipe

Most of these tasty pancake recipes are taken during breakfast. But actually you can eat them any time of the day.

Easy Pancakes


2 ½ tsp of baking powder
2 eggs (large)
3 tbsp of granulated sugar
2 tbsp of butter (melted)
1 ½ cups of milk
½ tsp of salt
2 cups of all purpose flour (sifted)


Sift the flour. Add the baking powder salt and sugar. Put the eggs and milk in a bowl. Whisk them together. Combine this with the flour. Stir the mixture until it turns smooth. Add the butter and blend it in. Cook this on a griddle.

Pour about 1/4 batter for a single pancake. Cook this tasty pancake recipe until it gets bubbly. It’s done when the edges are no longer dry. Turn it around and cook the other side.

Buttermilk Pancakes


¾ cup of milk
½ tsp of salt
1 tsp of baking powder
3 tbsp of granulated sugar
2 eggs (separate the yolks from the whites)
1/3 cup of butter (melted)
½ tsp of baking soda


Pour the baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Add the baking soda and flour as well. Mix them well. Get another bowl. Whisk the eggs, butter and milk. Mix this with the dry ingredients. Beat eth whites and purr into the bowl. Mix until all the ingredients of this pancake recipe are blended.

Put some oil on the skillet and set it to medium heat. Put some water on it and put the batter in there. Make each batter about ¼ cup size. Keep cooking until bubbles appear. Cook each side for about 3 minutes. Pour some syrup on the pancake before serving.

Cornmeal Pancake


1 ½ cups of cold water
1/3 cup of sugar
½ cup of cornmeal
1 ½ cups of buttermilk
2 cups of all-purpose flour (sifted)
2 tsp of salt
¾ tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of baking powder
1 egg
2 tbsp of soft butter


Start this simple pancake recipe by putting water in a bowl. Pour in the cornmeal. Bring it to a boil and lower the heat. Let it boil for 5 more minutes. Add the buttermilk and stir it. Sift the baking powder, soda, sugar and salt. Throw this into the cornmeal mix. Add the butter and egg. Cook the pancakes on a griddle.

Cornmeal Pancakes with Yogurt


3/4 cup of cornmeal
2 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
½ cup of wheat flour
½ cup of all white flour
4 egg whites
1 ¼ cups of skim milk
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
¼ cup vanilla yogurt
1 tsp of salt


Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Put the milk in another bowl. Add the yogurt and vegetable oil. Mix this and add with the dry ingredients. Beat the egg whites until they become hard. Set them on the batter. Put a bit of oil in the skillet. Cook the pancakes at medium heat. Each side should take 5 minutes to cook.
