Stuffed Peppers Recipe

The classic stuffed peppers recipes are great, but it’s more fun to make your own. Here are some ideas that can help you get started.

Stuffed Peppers with Tomato Juice


6 green peppers (large)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup of celery (sliced)
1 can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of water
1 tsp of dried oregano leaves
2 tbsp of chili powder
1 tsp of paprika
1 onion (chopped)
6 lbs of ground beef


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take out the tops and seeds of the peppers. Put it aside. Cook the ground beef, onion and garlic in a saucepan. For this stuffed peppers recipe, you must cook the beef until it turns brown.

Stir it so the beef gets chopped up. Drain the liquid. Toss in the celery, paprika, salt and pepper. Pour in the tomato juice and add the kidney beans. Cook this for 5 minutes and stir frequently. Stuff the green peppers with this mix.

Put the peppers in a baking dish (peppers should make contact). Mix the tomato sauce and water. Pour this over the peppers. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

1 cup of rice (cooked)

¼ tsp fresh basil (chopped)
¼ cup of parmesan cheese (grated)
2 cups of tomato juice

6 bell peppers
Salt and pepper
A pot of boiling water


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cook the rice. Remove the tops and seeds of the peppers. Put the peppers in the boiling water. Leave it there for a few minutes. Drain the water, dry the pepper and allow it to cool. Get a bowl. Put the parsley in it. Add the cheese, rice, basil and meat.

Mix it well. Pour the tomato juice in a baking dish. Spray some salt and pepper onto the pepper shell. Put the mixture in the peppers. Put the peppers on the baking dish.

Stuffed Pepper with Corn Kernels


1 can of tomato juice
1 ½ lb of ground beef
1 tsp of oregano
1 cup of frozen corn kernels
1 onion (large, diced)
½ tsp of cayenne
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1 can of pinto beans
1/3 tsp of ground black pepper
6 peppers (large)
1 tbsp of chili powder
2 tsp of ground cumin


Cook the beef and onions until the meat turns brown. Add the rest of the ingredients. Set heat to medium low. Add water if needed. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Take out the tops and seed of the peppers. Put the mix in the peppers. Bake it for 35 minutes in the oven (375 degrees).
