Pulled Pork Recipe

Making tasty pulled pork recipes don’t require hours of cooking experience in the kitchen. Next time you’re hosting a gathering of friends, try serving these.

BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients

1 pork shoulder roast
1 onion (large, quartered)
½ tsp of salt
½ of pepper
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of liquid smoke
1 cup of barbecue sauce
Coleslaw (for toppings)

Instructions

Place the pork in a slow cooker. Toss in the onion and add some salt and pepper. Throw in the garlic powder. Set the slow cooker to low. Cook for 11 hours. Remove the juices and cut up the pork. Toss in the vinegar, pork and add some barbecue sauce. Add the liquid smoke too. Turn the setting to high and cook this tasty pulled pork recipe for 60 minutes.

This dish is usually served with coleslaw. You can also eat them with some sandwiches. The ingredients here are good for 10 servings.

Pulled Pork with Creole Seasoning

Ingredients

3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 ½ tsp of Creole seasoning
1 onion (large, chopped)
1 onion (medium, sliced)
2 tsp of oil
1 cup of barbecue sauce
½ cup of vinegar
9 lbs of pork shoulder

Instructions

Put a sheet of foil in a roasting pan. Set the pork on foil. Flavor the pork with the seasonings. Add the garlic too. Put the sliced onion on the pork. Enfold the pork in it. Bake for 5 hours at 350 degrees. Cool it for a few minutes and begin chopping it. When making this simple pulled pork recipe, try to remove as much excess fat as possible.

Sauté the onions in a skillet until they tenderize. Toss the pork in a crockpot. Add the barbecue sauce. Toss in the vinegar and chopped onion. Turn to low and heat it.

Pulled Pork with Peppers

Ingredients

1 pork shoulder
Juice from 2 limes
2 onions (medium, sliced)
2 red bell peppers (chopped)
2 cups of barbecue sauce (or more)
Spicy chicken seasoning

Instructions

Toss half the onion in the crockpot. Place the pork shoulder in the crockpot. Flavor this pulled pork recipe with the spicy chicken seasoning. Add the onions and peppers.

Sprinkle in the lime juice. Cook for 6 hours on high settings. Remove the veggies and the pork. Chop them into small pieces. Throw out the juices and toss the pork back in the slow cooker.

Pour in the barbecue sauce. Put the cover on and set it to low. Cook for 1 hour. You can serve this dish with some coleslaw or buns. You can also eat it with some pickles. This dish is good for 8 to 10 servings.

Although chicken seasoning was used here, you can try others like burger or steak sauce. There may be other grill seasonings you prefer; just add them to the slow cooker.
