Chocolate Cake Recipe

Quick and Easy Chocolate Cake


1 and ½ cups of all purpose flour (unbleached)
½ tsp of salt
5 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 cup of sugar
2 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of vinegar
1 tsp of baking soda
1 cup of water (cold)
2 to 3 tbsp of cocoa (unsweetened)


Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add the sugar in the mix as well. Create three depressions within the flour. Put the vinegar in one and the oil in the other. Put vanilla in the last well of this homemade chocolate cake recipe.

Pour the water over the entire mixture. Stir it until the concoction gets moist. Transfer it to an 8 x 8” pan. Bake it at 350 degrees for half an hour.

Coconut Chocolate Fudge


1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of milk
1 tsp of salt
1 egg
½ cup of butter (unsalted)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 tsp of baking powder
2 cups of cake flour
2 ounces of unsweetened chocolate (melt this in a cup of hot water)
For the toppings you’ll need:
1/3 cup of whipping cream
6 tbsp of butter (melted)
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of coconut (shredded)


Begin this chocolate cake recipe by mixing the baking powder, salt, flour and sugar. Sift these ingredients. Put the following in a mixing bowl: butter, vanilla and milk.

Beat slowly for a couple of minutes. Toss in the egg, chocolates and water. Beat for another couple of minutes. Spread this batter in a greased pan (9 x 13 x 2”). Bake for 35 minutes.

Gather the toppings and place them over the cake. Broil for 7 minutes until it turns brown.

Marshmallow Chocolate Cake


¾ cups of butter
1 ½ cups of sugar
3 cups of marshmallows
1 ½ cups of pecans (chopped)
1 ½ cups of flour (self rising)


This chocolate cake recipe is made by combining the butter and sugar. Stir this until it gets fluffy. Add the cocoa and beat the mix. Toss in the eggs one at a time. Toss in the flour, vanilla and nuts. Stir these ingredients. Pour this in the greased baking pan. Bake it for 40 minutes at 325 degrees.

Remove it from the oven. Put the marshmallows above the cake and let it melt. You can also add some icing. The ingredients are:

½ cup of butter
1 tsp of vanilla
1 lb of confectioner’s sugar (not sifted)
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa

Just combine these ingredients in a saucepan. Add as much milk as you want until you get the preferred consistency. Pour this over the cake. Allow the cake to cool before serving it.
