Meatloaf Recipe

These easy meatloaf recipes are good examples of the many ways you can cook this dish. It’s been part of the American diet for years, but it’s still possible to prepare it in interesting and delicious ways.

Meatloaf with Mushrooms


¾ lb of ground pork
¾ lb of ground veal
½ cup of milk
½ cup of onion (chopped)
2 eggs (beaten lightly)
¾ cup of ketchup
2 tbsp of flour
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
8 ounces mushrooms (diced)
1 egg (hard cooked and peeled)
2 tsp of Dijon mustard
2 cup of beef broth
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
2 tbsp of onion (diced)
¾ lb of ground chuck
2 bread slices (without the crust)


Begin this tasty meatloaf recipe by mixing the meats and the onion. Cut the bread into small bits and immerse in the milk. Put this bread in a bowl with the ketchup, beaten eggs and mustard. Add the Worcestershire sauce. Mix this with the meats. Add some salt and pepper.

Pour 1/3 of this mix on a baking sheet. Shape it so there’s a mound in the middle. Shape it like an oval and place the hard cooked egg in the middle. Put the rest of the meat on top. Bake for one hour at 400 degrees.

Start sautéing the mushrooms and onion. Continue making this meatloaf recipe by adding the flour to the mushroom and onion. Keep cooking until the onion turns brown. Pour in the broth. Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes. Add some pepper and salt. Use this sauce as topping for the meatloaf you baked.

Meatloaf with Bread Crumbs


1 lb of lean ground beef
½ cup of bread crumbs (dry)
1 lb of ground veal
1 egg
1 can of olives (chopped)
1 can of green pepper (mild)
1 cup of corn kernels
1 tsp of onion powder
1 cup of salsa
½ tsp of garlic powder
1/3 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of pepper


This homemade meatloaf recipe is very easy to make. Just combine all the ingredients except the salsa in a bowl. Put it in a pan and bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes. When it’s cooked, top it off with the salsa.

Meatloaf with Dill


3/4 cup of rolled oats (quick cooking)
2 lbs of lean ground beef
1/3 cup of onion (chopped)
2 eggs (large and beaten)
1/3 cup of dill pickle (minced)
1 cup of tomato juice
2 tsp of salt


Pour all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix with your hands or potato masher. Pour them in a pan. Bake for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Meatloaf with Sour Cream


1 cup of sour cream
1 lb of ground pork
1 cup of cracker crumbs
½ cup of carrots (diced)
½ cup of onion (chopped)
½ tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of pepper
1 lb of lean ground beef


Mix all the ingredients. Transfer in a baking pan. Bake for 90 minutes at 350 degrees.

You can eat these meatloaf recipes as is, or with rice or bread. This makes them suitable for just about any occasion.
