Broccoli Soup Recipe

Broccoli Soup with Beef

Ingredients

2 lbs of lean ground beef
½ cup of chopped celery
3 cups of broccoli
¼ cup of green pepper

1/3 of thyme
¼ tsp of oregano
1/3 tsp of pepper

Instructions

Broccoli with Light Cream

Ingredients

2 and ½ lbs of broccoli
5 cups of chicken broth
1 ½ cups of onion
3 tbsp of flour
1/8 tsp of nutmeg
¼ tsp of pepper
¼ tsp of parsley
3 tbsp of butter
1 cup of light cream

Instructions

Cut the florets and put them in two cups. Set the florets in a saucepan. Put the remaining broccoli in a separate saucepan. Cook until they become tender. Broccoli Soup with Cauliflower

Ingredients

1 cauliflower (medium size, chopped)
1 carrot (large, chopped)
4 cups of chicken broth
1 onion (medium, diced)
1 cup of grated cheese
1 cup of celery
Chives (chopped)
A cup of milk and cream

Instructions

Pour the chicken broth in the slow cooker. Toss in the carrot, celery, onions and cauliflower in the broth. Add the onion in as well. Set the slow cooker to low. Cook it for 8 hours. Puree this in the blender until the mixture gets smooth.

Add in the milk, cream and cheese and mix it. Add some salt and pepper and adjust setting to high. When it’s ready to serve, top it off with the chives.
