Broccoli Soup Recipe

Broccoli soup recipes can be prepared in many ways. Even if you don’t know a lot about cooking, these meals are very simple to arrange.

Broccoli Soup with Beef


2 lbs of lean ground beef
½ cup of chopped celery
3 cups of broccoli
¼ cup of green pepper
1 cup of diced carrots
5 cups of tomato juice
4 oz of mushrooms
1/2 cup of water
1/3 of thyme
¼ tsp of oregano
1/3 tsp of pepper


Start by browning the beef and taking off the fat. In the pan, add the ootehr ingredients and seasonings. Pour in the water and tomato juice. Cook this tasty broccoli soup recipe in a slow cooker. At a low setting it’ll cook in 9 hours. At high it will be ready in 5 hours.

Broccoli with Light Cream


2 and ½ lbs of broccoli
5 cups of chicken broth
1 ½ cups of onion
3 tbsp of flour
1/8 tsp of nutmeg
¼ tsp of pepper
¼ tsp of parsley
3 tbsp of butter
1 cup of light cream


Cut the florets and put them in two cups. Set the florets in a saucepan. Put the remaining broccoli in a separate saucepan. Cook until they become tender. When they’re cooked, place them in a pan of cold water. Remove the water. If you’re not going to cook the broccoli soup recipe yet, store the vegetable in the fridge.

Toss the onions in the saucepan and sauté it with butter and the other ingredients. Remove it from the heat after 2 minutes and pour in the broth. Put it back in the heat and boil it. Let it simmer for five minutes.

1 can of celery soup
1 tsp of pepper
2 pieces of onion (large)

Chop the broccoli into small pieces. Put all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Toss in the broccoli last. Mix it and cook on a high setting for 4 hours. You’ll know this tasty broccoli soup recipe is done when the vegetables have become tender.

Broccoli Soup with Cauliflower


1 cauliflower (medium size, chopped)
1 carrot (large, chopped)
4 cups of chicken broth
1 onion (medium, diced)
1 cup of grated cheese
1 cup of celery
Chives (chopped)
A cup of milk and cream


Pour the chicken broth in the slow cooker. Toss in the carrot, celery, onions and cauliflower in the broth. Add the onion in as well. Set the slow cooker to low. Cook it for 8 hours. Puree this in the blender until the mixture gets smooth.

Add in the milk, cream and cheese and mix it. Add some salt and pepper and adjust setting to high. When it’s ready to serve, top it off with the chives.
